Delete in Tailwaters

Open Tailwaters, tap the logo in the upper-left corner, and choose Delete Account & Data. Tailwaters verifies the active private guest session and deletes the Supabase Auth user and associated profile, saved-location, request-contact, push, presence, and queued-notification records. If you continue using Tailwaters, the app creates a new unrelated guest account.

Legacy Facebook-Linked Accounts

Tailwaters no longer offers Facebook sign-in. If you remove Tailwaters from Facebook and request deletion of an account linked by an earlier app version, Meta sends Tailwaters a signed server-to-server request. Tailwaters verifies Meta's signature and deletes the Supabase account associated with that Facebook identity. Meta then provides a confirmation code and deletion-status link.

Request Help

If you cannot access the app or need help with deletion, you can initiate a request without reinstalling Tailwaters by emailing hello@damtailwaters.com. Include the user ID shown by pressing and holding the Tailwaters logo if you still have access to the app. Because guest accounts have no email address or other login identity, we may need that ID or other information to locate and verify the account before deleting it. Verified requests are processed within a reasonable time.

Limited operational logs, security records, crash reports, backups, or information required by law may remain for their applicable retention periods, as described in the Privacy Policy.
